The East Sussex Local Safeguarding Board (LSCB) is working to ensure there are effective methods for identifying, reporting, investigating and managing the protection of children. If you are concerned that a child or young person is at significant risk of harm, download and complete the Statement of Referral Form (SOR) – May 2016 and send it to the Single Point of Advice.
This section provides information, advice and resources for professionals on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, including information about East Sussex LSCB training.
By professionals we mean anyone working with or caring for children or young people in an employed or voluntary capacity, including people whose job brings them into contact with children infrequently or on an ad hoc basis, such as members of emergency services or the clergy.
We hope you find this information useful.
