Child Sexual Exploitation, Trafficking and Missing Group


  • To ensure a coordinated multi-agency response to child sexual exploitation (CSE), trafficking and missing children
  • To ensure that children and young people at risk can be identified at an early stage
  • To ensure sufficient specialist training for frontline services
  • To develop ways of capturing and recording data relating to known or suspected CSE trafficking or missing children.
  • To monitor and evaluate the procedures and response to CSE, trafficking and missing children, and
  • To communicate, and raise awareness of CSE, trafficking and missing children across all agencies, as well as with families and young people.


The member of the group is drawn from all LSCB partners, including:

  • Children’s Services
  • Education
  • Health
  • Housing
  • Police
  • Substance Misuse
  • Voluntary organisations
  • Youth Offending Team
  • Young Runaways Project, and
  • Youth Services
